In our infants, the primary focus is to support the social and emotional development of every child. We focus on the developmental milestones which guide the programming for the individual child.
Self-help skills being built – hand washing, faces, packing away. Building strong secure relationships between children and educators.
After 18 months, we start to support children to recognise their own bodily needs, thirst, hunger toileting. This curriculum promotes social development in small and large groups and supports self-regulation in children by way of educational games and play-based activities. ‘Turn-taking’, lining up, following simple instructions, recognising and naming children’s own emotions and that of others are among the key outcomes of this curriculum.
